When, where or how does inspiration strike you?
I don’t know about you, but it can strike me at the most inopportune times.
It’s funny. It’s like it knows when I’m in the middle of doing something or I’m busy.
One place inspiration strikes me is when I’m getting ready in the morning. Another is when I’m working out or when I’m driving. The problem is if I don’t write it down or sketch the design I lose it or forget about it so I always feel compelled to stop what I’m doing and take time to note it. This can make getting ready in the morning or working out take a lot longer than it should.
I can just imagine my husband thinking, “What’s going on in there? Why is it taking her so long?” (heavy sigh)
Such is life when you take heed of your creative impulses and act on them, and the more often you do it, the more it seems to happen. Can anyone else relate?
So, please be patient with me If I’m late for something. I might be texting you to say, “Give me a minute, I need to write something down.” (Like this post that I wrote in the bathroom).
Where and when does inspiration find you?
